A few words on Shipping
These days more than ever, keeping down the cost of shipping is so very important.
In many cases there is sticker shock when you think of spending upwards to $99.00 or more for shipping.
There is, however, a method to our madness. Our shipping prices are quite reasonable when you consider that most
other companies either over charge to make a profit on shipping or call their shipping "Free".
Nothing is "Free" we all know that. Typically "Free" means the cost is built into the cost of the product being shipped and
in many cases if the product is from China or another 3rd world country, there is a larger profit margin to cut into.
All of our products are too large to ship UPS Small Package so it is necessary to ship Freight, or LTL (less than a truck
load).
Our Shipping charges are based on our volume of shipping. We have an arrangement with a 78% discount as well as a
waiver for Residential and Lift Gate delivery.
In many cases with our competitors or those who ship items over 150#, there are additional fees involved. Residential
fees are typically $25.00. In many cases your shipping is for "Tailgate" deliver. This is where the driver brings the
shipment to the end of the truck for you to take off.
In other events you may get a call from the trucking company telling you the weight of the load, and then they attempt to
upsell the "Lift Gate" opportunity for an additional $35.00.
These two practices are not a part of our shipping process. Although it is necessary to be there to assist the driver in
unloading, there are no hidden charges or hidden fees when we ship our products to you. The price you pay us is straight
shipping, no handling fees, no packaging fees. In fact if you can personally get a better rate we can arrange to have the
shipper pick up and charge you directly. Should you choose this option we will refund your shipping charges made during
the sale.

Packaging
All of our Benches are custom packed since many benches are different based on client requests.
The charges for packaging are built into the price of our benches. The average cost in materials is $30.00. It takes
approximately one hour to prepare and pack each bench.
We take the extra time to reduce the opportunity of damage when a clumsy dock worker makes a mistake. Theres never
a total escape from damage but we make every reasonable effort to minimize this. Since the benches are custom they
are not easily boxed up and reshipped, they have to be rebuilt.
When purchasing online as with any product, think of the tax savings as an investment in your shipping dollars.
